Do filters remove odors?

AirDoctor's activated carbon filter will remove odors in the air, but it will not stop the source of the odors from releasing them. If odors have been absorbed by carpeting, furniture, curtains, etc., these will need to be cleaned or removed to eliminate the source of the odors as well.
